Danish Blue Porcelain

All Danish Blue Dog Plates are manufactured from the finest porcelain. Each design is carefully made according to the original drawing from the artist and then hand decorated onto each plate. The plates are then high fired in special kilns at 1250 degrees celsius. The firing time process takes approximately 24 hours to achieve the exquisite blue underglaze that produces an unmatched quality that customers demand. The diameter size is 19.5mm (8"), and each plate is shipped in its own protective styrofoam box. All Dog Plates are predrilled for easy hanging. All Plates are both microwave and dishwasher safe.

The artist of Danish Blue Dog Plates Natalia Brampton has hand drawn most of the dog motifs in the present range of dog plates. She was born in Siberia and a former student of the Novosibirisk Art School of Russia. Natalia was also the winner of the 1984 Painter of the Year award in Russia with her portrait "Boy and his Dog. She now resides in England and has also been elected one of the 10 best artists in the UK.
